My Journey
Hi! I’m Simon. My coding journey started in 2018 when I came across a YouTube video of someone making Tetris in C++. I was 16, and it blew my mind—you could actually build games from scratch. That moment pulled me into hours of tutorials, trying to recreate classics like Snake and Frogger.
One of my proudest moments at work was learning how to set up payments and then watching strangers actually use—and pay for—something I helped make.
I enjoy both sides of development: designing smooth, clean interfaces and solving tricky problems behind the scenes. Over time, I’ve learned that code isn’t just for making games—it’s a way to solve real problems for real people.
When I’m not coding, you’ll usually find me at the gym, catching up on sleep, or still in front of the computer but not coding.
My focus is on keeping things simple: building systems that are clear, easy to maintain, and strong enough to last.
